DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 14\, 2017\n\n10am-4pm\n\nBeginning Italic Calligraphy: Italic-Class 1\n\nwith Patti Paulus\, Lettering Artist\, Drawing & Bookmaking\n\n\n\nWould you like to add calligraphy to your skill-set to enhance and personalize your own hand made cards\,  invitations\,  scrapbooks\,  bookmarks\,  etc.?  In this  class  you  will  learn  the  foundations of creating  calligraphic  italic  letters.  (And  you  don't  have to have  good  handwriting to learn calligraphy!) The workshop focus will be on lower case italic letters\, both mono-line letterforms  and letterforms  written  with  a  broad  edged  tool.  Each  student  can  expect to receive  several exemplars (templates)\, a notebook and the opportunity to communicate with Patti after the class for additional  help  and/or critique. Calligraphic writing tools will be available for your  use with an option to purchase at the end of the workshop.
