DESCRIPTION:Cecil Cares is an annual\, countywide day of service coordinated by Cecil County Department of Community Services and a Cecil Cares Planning Team\; the event receives support from Upper Shore Regional Council. Cecil Cares offers citizens the opportunity to connect and volunteer with local organizations (nonprofits\, government agencies\, and faith and service-based organizations) on a variety of service projects throughout the County. We invite local non-profits\, faith-based and government organizations\, and businesses to join us by submitting a project. Possible projects include but are not limited to: roadside/waterway clean-up\, landscaping\, painting\, or donation drives. To submit a project\, use the online project application: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CecilCares2024 Submission deadline: 7/19/24. Projects will be posted by late August and we invite residents to visit https://www.volunteercecil.org/cecil-cares-2024/ to locate - and sign up for! - a project of their choice.
