Maryland's BEST Alcohol Awareness Class
The Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation is happy to announce open-enrollment in Maryland's BEST Alcohol Awareness Class in Cecil County, for the first time ever. Class will be held at the Port House Grill in North East from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday, February 23rd.
Maryland's BEST is an alcohol awareness program that meets all Maryland state and local requirements. It is approved by the Comptroller of Maryland and is valid in every county. At least one person is required to be certified at every establishment with a liquor license, but many owners and managers choose to train all of their bartenders and wait staff.
Your staff will learn about the importance of responsible alcohol service, underage drinking and ID's, the effects of alcohol on the body, levels of intoxication, and techniques for controlling consumption and preventing intoxication in an interactive and engaging presentation.
The class is $65 per student, however Cecil County Chamber members
receive a $10 discount (Chamber members pay $55). You can register
for a class online at www.marylandrestaurants.com or by calling 410-290-6800.
