Drug Free Cecil Youth Coalition Prevention Rally

Drug Free Cecil Youth Coalition will hold a Prevention Rally, to kick off National Prevention Week. This event is entirely student-led and adult-guided. Youth will premiere new Public Service Announcements they created at this year's Cecil County Youth Leadership Summit. All six high schools will have students presenting on topics such as "What's New is Prevention?" and "Prevention- Why it Matters!" A brief key note will be shared by Mr. Robert Alvarez, Youth Leadership Manager for Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America. Following the 90 minute rally a health fair will take place from 12:30-2:00pm in the lower parking lot with vendors, prevention games for teens, food and community agencies focused on prevention, treatment, recovery and public safety.
