First Day Hike
Frolic through field and forest all weekend to reach your destination at the historic Turkey Point Light Station overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Keep on the lookout for snow geese and other winter wildlife as you hike the 1.5 miles round-trip gravel trail. There is no day use fee for this area, but parking is limited. The trail is suited for mountain bikes and pets, but not stroller friendly. Registration is not required. The Turkey Point Lighthouse Area is open sunrise to sunset.
