Make & Take: Leather Mason Jar Coozie

Level: Beginner and up (kids welcome age 12 or older and accompanied by a parent)

This class is a fun and easy intro to the art of leather crafting. The class supplies include pre-cut and pre-punched pieces of premium tooling leather, a pre-drilled wide-mouth mason jar lid, brass snap, and plastic straw. We’ll have some fun pounding designs into the leather using the instructor’s collection of leather stamps and other tools. Then we’ll dye and finish it with a choice of color, set the brass handle snap, and then corset-lace the wrap using braided cord. The coozie and handle are removable for easy cleaning of the jar. Perfect for sipping a nice cold drink on a hot summer day!
