Paws for Life 5k Trail Run/Walk & 2 Mile Fun Dog Walk Saturday May 6, 2017 – 9:30 a.m. Paws for Life Dog Kennel – 435 Mitton Road – Chesapeake City, MD 21915 Day of event Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. - Preregistration $25.00 – Day of event $30.00 Join us for a rare opportunity to run or walk a 5k (with or without your dog) or just walk through some of Maryland’s most beautiful protected land, while raising money to help our rescued dogs. Our 5k starts the day with runners and walkers following the trails in the serene countryside and sprint to the finish on blacktop. Shortly after, our 2 mile dog walk begins with trivia along the trail. Runners and walkers will return to a family fun Cookout, Entertainment by Box Turtle Bob, 5k awards, canine games with prizes, vendors and silent auction. Medals - Overall male and female winners- for top 3 male/female in age groups 9 & under, 10 -14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over-for top 3 male/female walkers - for top 3 male/female 5k runners with Dogs – Special award to the Top Male & Female 5k runner with Dog Division – One Medal per placed participant T-Shirt guaranteed to first 200 entrants.
