Immaculate Conception School is having its 14th annual Waffles & Raffles on Sunday January 27th.
It starts at 8 am and runs to 12pm, and will feature Mayor Alt’s famous sausage gravy. Every year this
event has drawn together people from the Elkton community for great food and chances to win gift
baskets brimming with items and services. This year’s theme is Willy Wonka.
On the menu: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy fresh baked biscuits, waffle sticks, topping bar,
coffee, juice and Snozzberry lemonade.
Adults $7
Seniors and children ages 4-12 $6
Children 3 and under FREE
In addition, Immaculate Conception School will be having a Willy Wonka-theme Open House from
9:30 am - 12:30 pm. There will be school tours, Wonka Rooms, bubbles, balloons, an Oompa Loompa
photo station, Wonka activities, Wonka Story Time, and the opportunity to talk to teachers and parents
about the Immaculate Conception School experience. Come and bring your children and your friends to
find out why Immaculate Conception School students are awarded scholarships to the high schools of
their choice and why investing in a strong foundation builds a very bright future!
Every child that attends the Open House will be given a FREE raffle ticket.
