Cecil Cares is an annual, countywide day of service coordinated by Cecil County Department of Community Services and a Cecil Cares Planning Team; the event receives support from Upper Shore Regional Council. Cecil Cares offers citizens the opportunity to connect and volunteer with local organizations (nonprofits, government agencies, and faith and service-based organizations) on a variety of service projects throughout the County. We invite local non-profits, faith-based and government organizations, and businesses to join us by submitting a project. Possible projects include but are not limited to: roadside/waterway clean-up, landscaping, painting, or donation drives. To submit a project, use the online project application: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CecilCares2024 Submission deadline: 7/19/24. Projects will be posted by late August and we invite residents to visit https://www.volunteercecil.org/cecil-cares-2024/ to locate - and sign up for! - a project of their choice.
